The ExHAC Hazardous Area Classification Application Software
and Training Course for Explosive Gas Atmospheres

Gain competence in classifying areas where explosive gas atmospheres may exist!

Subscribe to our IEC 60079-10-1 Ed. 3.0 ExHAC Hazardous Area Classification Application Software and Training Course today!

The web-based design calculation tool—the ExHAC software—will help you assess, design, and document your classification design in accordance with IEC 60079-10-1 Ed. 3.0 standard. The ExHAC software has the capability to predict key material and process parameters required for a classification design assessment using the IEC 60079-10-1 standard.  They include material compressibility, polytropic index parameters and vapour pressures at release temperatures for flammable materials.  Our software will also determine the group classification and auto-ignition temperature of fluids comprised of more than one flammable component.  This capability is unique to ExHAC!

The ExHAC bundle includes the ExHAC software application and a comprehensive training course on classification design.   We did this to promote competence in classification design.  We believe that a software tool by itself cannot provide the definitive answer to a classification problem.   It serves as a starting point in your analysis.  There are additional considerations that must be applied to a calculation result to ensure a safe and appropriate design solution.   We discuss these design considerations that require “engineering judgement” in our training course.  We also discuss how to properly document a classification design so that it can be maintained over the life of the facility.  Our bundle provides you with the foundation you need to perform this important safety design task with confidence.

Our ExHAC bundle will help you become IECEx COPC (Certificate of Personnel Competence) certified.  This credential provides third-party verification of your skillset in performing a classification design.  For more information on the IECEx COPC program please visit https://www.iecex.com/certificates-and-licenses/scheme-documents-3/certified-persons/

The online Web-based ExHAC software and training course provides an excellent tool at your fingertips, anytime and anywhere you need to perform a classification design.
